My name is Inara Simplicio, I'm Brazilian and I've lived in San Diego for 7 years. I got married in Brazil and came to America 3 years after my wedding, because my husband couldn't adapt to the Brazilian climate. I had a lot of difficulty deciding to come to America. I was going through the pain of losing my sister, and I knew that my mother would miss her very much and would also miss me if I decided to come to America. However, I didn't have much of a choice, and I decided to come and live here in San Diego. In 2020, my husband passed away. It was a big shock because he didn't seem ill. I felt lost, I didn't have many friends and I didn't have family in San Diego, and I didn't speak English very well. I felt very sad and wanted to go back to Brazil. In truth I didn't know what to do. I sought help from a psychologist and then a psychiatrist because I had a series of problems such as anxiety, panic attacks and depression. One day I was taking a walk in the morning, and I came across a brochure about this meditation. I called them and made my first appointment to know how it works. On the same day, I started. It was difficult because at that moment my English was not good, I was so depressed that I only cried. I cried every day I was meditating, but I persisted. I told myself that I wanted to improve my pain and move on with my life. It wasn't that easy, but I went to the meditation center every day and I felt an improvement every day. I realized how good meditation was for me. The crises got better, I was feeling better, and I started to understand how meditation was doing good for my life. I also started speaking English better! A lot has changed for me, so I decided to stay in San Diego longer. Now I sleep better and I no longer cry every day because I no longer feel the pain of grief. I feel comfortable. Meditation changed my life and now it has become my lifestyle.

When I found this meditation method, it was during the first month of pandemic and I was at a very low place in my life.
I met my guide through Zoom and it was recommended that I meditate 7 days per week if I wanted to maximize the benefit, and get out of the dark place I was in as quickly as possible.
Since that first day, I have meditated every single day for the last 3.5 years. It's been extremely beneficial and has become part of my daily routine.
As a result of my continual meditation practice, I'm now slow to anger, I have eliminated all anxiety about the future, I am healing my past, I'm earning more money working fewer hours per day, my confidence is through the roof, and I can say I'm genuinely happy.

I would recommend this meditation method to anyone who has put themselves on a path of personal development, who enjoys self-reflection, continual personal growth, facing new challenges, and who also enjoy a sense of community.

When I first started going to San Diego Meditation, I noticed a positive change within myself after only a few sessions. As more time went on, I realized how much past experiences had negatively affected my mindset and overall well-being, and how the human mind works in a superficial way, which can be controlled through meditation.
