Your First Visit

What to Expect at Your First Session

No experience needed. Plan for about 1 hour total. Here's what a typical first session looks like.

Arrive & settle in

Walk in at a scheduled session time. A guide will welcome you and briefly explain the method.

Guided meditation

A trained guide walks you through the 3-step method one-on-one. You'll sit comfortably — no special positions, clothing, or equipment needed.

Reflect & ask questions

After the session, chat with a guide about your experience. There's no sales pitch — just honest conversation about whether this method is right for you.

Do I need any experience to attend?

No experience is needed at all. Our method is guided — a trained instructor walks you through every step. Most people who come to us have never meditated before.

Is the first session really free?

Yes, completely free with no obligation. We want you to experience the method before making any commitment. Just show up or book online.

How long is a session?

Plan for about 1 hour total. The guided meditation itself is around 30 minutes, followed by time for reflection and any questions you might have.

Do I need to sit on the floor?

No. You'll sit comfortably in a chair. No special positions, clothing, or equipment are needed. Just come as you are.

Is this religious or spiritual?

This is a practical method for clearing mental clutter — it's not tied to any religion or belief system. People of all backgrounds and beliefs practice here.

What should I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. There's no dress code. Many people come straight from work or errands.

Can I attend online instead of in person?

Yes. We offer hybrid sessions so you can join from home via Zoom. Our parent organization also offers 60+ guided Zoom sessions per week through OMEmeditation.org.
